Graduating seniors and first-year college students from Riverside and San Bernardino counties can still apply for multiple scholarship programs through IECF. Students can get $1,000 in funding! Applications are being accepted now through Monday, May 3, 2021.
The scholarships open and available to apply for:
- Elizabeth C. and Jack B. Clarke, Sr. Scholarship Fund: Clarke was the first African-American member of the Riverside City Council and the fund honors the late councilmember and his wife for their service to the Riverside community.
- Barnett Grier and Eleanor Jean Grier Scholarship Fund: Provides scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors from high schools within the City of Riverside. The scholarship program is a legacy to the Griers’ efforts to ensure equality in education, housing, employment, and opportunity for underrepresented and disadvantaged citizens in Riverside.
- The Beverly J. Soderling Scholarship Fund: Established in 2014 through a bequest from Beverly J. Soderling to honor excellence in mathematics for graduating seniors at Banning High School.
- Ruth Schroff Scholarship Fund: Provides scholarships for outstanding African-American or Hispanic/Latino students residing in Riverside or San Bernardino Counties.
IECF also encourages anyone to share this opportunity with a student they know.
